
Ingredients:
• 10-12 – button Mushrooms
• 2-3 – Cloves finely chopped Garlic
• 1 tbsp – Garlic paste
• 1 – large Egg
• Pinch of salt
• 1.5 tsp – crushed black pepper
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 cup – Suji or bread crumbs
• Oil to deep fry
• For Garlic sauce:
• 1 cup – mayo
• 3-4 tbsp – Hot and sweet Tomato chilli magi sauce
• Chopped Spring onions or Parsley for garnishing
Method:
- Clean mushrooms, dry and leave them aside for a few minutes.
- Beat egg and mix garlic paste, salt, pepper, and chilli powder with the beaten egg.
- Marinate mushrooms in this mixture for about 3-4 hours.
- Take suji in a ziploc bag or container. Add the marinated mushrooms and briskly shake the container to coat mushrooms well.
- Deep fry these mushrooms by gently placing each one in preheated oil.
- Set aside the mushrooms for a few minutes on a paper to drain oil.
- To make the garlic sauce:
- Add finely chopped garlic in mayo.
- If you desire, add grated garlic.
- Add Maggi sauce (If this sauce is not available, add 1 tsp red chilli powder to 3 tbsp of tomato ketchup) and check if mayo contains salt.
- Garlic sauce ready.
- In a serving platter, place fried mushrooms and top each mushroom with 1 tbsp of garlic sauce.
- Garnish with finely chopped spring onions on each mushroom or fresh parsley.
