
Ingredients:
• 2 tbsp – poppy seeds(Khus khus/Gasagase)
• 1 tbsp – Rice
• 2 cups – Milk
• 2 cups – water
• 2 cups – mashed Jaggery
• 1/2 tsp – Cardamom powder
• 2 tbsp – crushed Almonds
• 1 tbsp – crushed Pistachios
Method:
- Soak poppy seeds and rice for 3-4 hours.
- Grind them in to fine paste.
- Bring water to a boil.
- Add mashed jaggery and as it melts, stir continuously.
- Add the paste and let it cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Add milk and cardamom powder.
- Let it boil for 3-4 minutes.
- Garnish with nuts.
- Serve hot.
