
Ingredients:
• 2 tbsp – cornflour
• 2 tbsp – soya sauce
• 1/2 tsp – ground Ginger
• 1/8 tsp – Garlic powder
• 1 – small onion, thinly sliced
• 1 – stalk celery, cut into slices
• 450 g – boneless Beef steak, cut across the grain into thin strips
• 1 cup – snow peas
• 230 g – fresh Bean sprouts
• 1 cup sliced fresh Mushrooms
• hot cooked Rice
Method:
- Mix cornflour, soya sauce, ginger and garlic powder in a 4-cup casserole. Blend together.
- Microwave on high flame for 4 minutes.
- Stir once to thicken. Keep it aside.
- In another casserole, place onion and celery and cover it.
- Microwave on high for 3 minutes or until they become tender-crisp.
- Stir it with beef and sauce. Add snow peas.
- Microwave for 8 minutes, stirring after 4 minutes.
- Stir in bean sprouts and mushrooms.
- Microwave for another 4 to 8 minutes or until the beef is no longer pink.
- Stir it once. Serve over rice.
