Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – Chicken (cut as medium pieces)
• 3 – Onions (chopped)
• 1/2 cup – Tomato puree
• 1 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Chilli powder
• 1 tbsp – Coriander powder
• 1/2 cup – Yogurt
• Salt
• Few Curry leaves
• 1 tsp – Fennel seeds
• 3 – Dry Red Chillies
• 1/2 cup – Gingili Oil
• Coriander leaves (chopped)

Method:

  1. Marinate the chicken with chilly powder, salt, yogurt and keep aside for half an hour.
  2. In a kadai, heat the gingili oil. Fry the fennel seeds and dry red chillies.
  3. Now add the chopped onions, ginger garlic paste and cook until the onions turns translucent.
  4. Now add the marinated chicken, tomato puree, coriander powder and cook them for few minutes.
  5. Cook everything in simmer.
  6. Sprinkle some water and cook everything for few minutes until the chicken roast turns dry.
  7. Finally add the chopped coriander leaves and put off the stove.
  8. Serve as side dish.
