Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup – rice, soaked in water, drained, dried
• 1 tin sweetened condensed Milk
• 2 cups – Milk
• 1/2 cup – Almond powder
• 4 pedhas
• 2 tbsp – pistachios, minced
• 2 tbsp – Raisins
• 1 tsp – Cardamom powder
• 1/2 tsp – Saffron
• Sugar as needed
Method:
- Grind rice to a rough semolina like powder.
- Add 4 cups of water and boil till done.
- There should be no lumps. Add sweetened milk, plain milk and almond powder (mixed with a little water). Blend well and cook.
- If needed, add more sugar.
- Add cardamom powder, saffron, raisins and nuts.
- Add crushed pedhas and simmer till fragrant and creamy.
- Add milk if needed.
- Chill and serve.
