Ingredients:
• 200 g – Goa sausages
• 200 g – Potatoes, cubed
• 2 tsp – chilli Powder
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 small ball – Tamarind
• 2 – Medium Onions
• 1 tbsp – Cooking oil
• 6 Cloves – Garlic
• 1 tsp – Salt
• 1 tsp – Vinegar
• 3 – Green chillies
• 1 inch – Ginger
• 3 – Tomatoes
Method:
- Make the curry paste with all the masala powders and tamarind pulp.
- Mince the remaining items for frying.
- Slice the onions, tomatoes and keep separately.
- Put cooking oil in a dekshi and heat it, then fry sliced onions.
- When brown, fry the other minced masalas.
- When it has changed colour, put the cut tomatoes in the dekshi and fry.
- Then add the curry paste and some water. Add in cubed potatoes.
- When the potatoes are almost cooked, add the goa sausages – cut into small pieces – and fry.
- Add a little hot water if needed.
- Finally, add in more salt and vinegar, if needed.
