Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Channa (cooked)
• 1/2 cup – Fresh coconut, grated
• 1 – Onion, medium
• 2 – Green chillies
• 2 tsp – Oil
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 3/4 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 cup – Curd

Method:

  1. Heat 1 tsp of oil in a kadai. Add all ingredients except curd and salt.
  2. Once the dal becomes slightly brown, add curd and salt.
  3. Allow mixture to boil for a second or so on a low flame.
  4. Serve hot with rice and puris.
