Ingredients:

• 20 – Small golden fish
• 2 tbsp – Crushed Garlic
• 4 – Cut Green chillies
• 1 tbsp – cut Coriander leaves
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric
• 1 tsp – Chilli powder
• 2 tsp – Dhania-jeera powder.
• Salt to taste
• Tamarind pulp – 3 tbsp
• Oil – 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Clean the fish and apply salt, turmeric, chilly powder and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a flat bottom pan.
  3. Add garlic and fry for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the fish and stir it for a minute.
  5. Add 1/2 a cup of water.
  6. When it boils, add tamarind pulp along with dhania-jeera powder and coriander leaves and cut green chillies.
  7. Boil till the fish cooks.
  8. Serve with boiled rice.
