
Ingredients:
• 1.5 cup – basmati rice, washed well
• 2 onions, chopped
• 1 tsp – Sugar
• 1 cup – tender peas
• 5 tbsp – oil
• 1 egg, hard-boiled, shelled, sliced
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Heat sugar in a pressure cooker till it caramelizes.
- Add oil and heat. Add onions. Brown.
- Add rice and peas and stir fry till golden.
- Add salt and 5.5 cups hot water.
- Cook under pressure for 7 mins.
- Cool and transfer to a serving dish.
- Decorate with egg slices.
