
Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Cooked Rice
• 1 cup – Grated gooseberries
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds + Urad Dal
• 1 tsp – Channa dal
• 2 – Green chillies (slit)
• 3 – Dry Red Chillies
• Few Peanuts
• 1 tsp – Ginger (grated)
• 1 tsp – Ghee
• 1/4 tsp – Asafetida powder
• Few Curry leaves
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• Salt
• Oil
Method:
- Heat enough oil. Fry the mustard seeds, urad dal, channa dal, peanuts, curry leaves, dry red chillies and asafoetida powder.
- Immediately add the slit green chillies and grated ginger.
- Saute for a few seconds. Now add the grated gooseberries with turmeric powder and saute until it shrinks a bit.
- Immediately add the cooked rice with enough salt and toss everything gently.
- Finally add the ghee and turn off the stove.
- Serve hot with spicy potato fries..
