Ingredients:

• 300 gms – green choley
• 1 cup – Corn niblets
• 2 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 2 tbsp – Tomato puree
• 1/2 cup – browned Onion paste
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – roasted Jeera powder
• 1 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 3-4 tsp – oil
• 1 tbsp – coriander powder
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil and add the brown onion paste and ginger-garlic paste. Also, mix in the spices and 2 tbsp water and cook this mixture over low heat for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Mix in the choley and stir gently, also mix in the tomato puree at this time.
  3. Cover with a lid and cook on low fire for 2 minutes more. 
  4. Now mix in the corn niblets and continue to cook and stir for 1 minute more.
  5. Put off the heat and serve as a side dish with roti or paratha.
  6. Serve with puris for breakfast. 
  7. This goes well with a portion of poha preparation or with plain idlis as starter or snack.
