Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg lamb or Mutton chops, flattened a little
• 2 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 4 Green chillies
• 3 tbsp – Coriander leaves
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 2 Cloves
• 2 Cardamom
• 2 pieces – Cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp -turmeric powder
• Salt to taste
• 3 tbsp – oil
• 3 potatoes, cut into quarters
• 2 onions, sliced finely
• 1/2 cup Coconut paste
Method:
- Grind the green chillies, coriander leaves, coconut, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and cumin seeds with vinegar to a smooth paste in a blender.
- Heat oil in pressure cooker and fry the onions till golden brown.
- Add the meat, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder and fry for some time.
- Now add the ground paste, salt and mix well.
- Keep frying on low heat till the oil separates from the mixture.
- Add the potatoes, sufficient water and pressure cook for 15 mins.
- Serve hot.
