Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – medium size Prawns cleaned and de-veined
• 2 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 4 Green chillies
• 3 tbsp – Coriander leaves
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 2 cloves, 2 cardamom, 2 pieces of Cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• Salt to taste
• 3 tbsp – oil
• 2 Onions sliced finely
• 1/2 cup – Coconut paste

Method:

  1. Grind the green chillies, coriander leaves, coconut, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and cumin seeds to a smooth paste in a blender.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions till golden brown.
  3. Add the ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder and fry for some time.
  4. Now add the ground masala, salt and mix well.
  5. Keep frying on low heat till the oil separates from the mixture.
  6. Add the prawns, sufficient water to cover the prawns and cook for 5 to 6 minutes.
  7. Serve hot.
