
Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg – medium size Prawns cleaned and de-veined
• 2 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 4 Green chillies
• 3 tbsp – Coriander leaves
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 2 cloves, 2 cardamom, 2 pieces of Cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• Salt to taste
• 3 tbsp – oil
• 2 Onions sliced finely
• 1/2 cup – Coconut paste
Method:
- Grind the green chillies, coriander leaves, coconut, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and cumin seeds to a smooth paste in a blender.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions till golden brown.
- Add the ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder and fry for some time.
- Now add the ground masala, salt and mix well.
- Keep frying on low heat till the oil separates from the mixture.
- Add the prawns, sufficient water to cover the prawns and cook for 5 to 6 minutes.
- Serve hot.
