
Ingredients:
• 3 – Potatoes
• 1 cup – green peas, boiled and shelled
• 1 tbsp – Refined flour
• 6 tbsp – oil
• 1 – onion, chopped
• 1 – tomato, chopped
• 1/2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 3 tbsp – Rice flour
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Boil, peel and mash the potatoes.
- Mix in the salt and flour to make a soft dough.
- Shape dough into 8 equal balls and set aside.
- Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan.
- Saute the chopped onion till golden brown.
- Add the chopped tomato and cook till soft.
- Add the green peas, chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt to taste.
- Cook for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and leave to cool.
- Flatten each potato ball on your palm into a 2-inch circle.
- Place 1 tbsp of green pea filling in the centre and bring the edges together to make a ball.
- Roll in rice flour and deep fry till golden.
- Serve hot with tomato sauce.
