
Ingredients:
• 2 – guava, cut and seeds removed
• 1 – Green chilli
• 1 tsp – Tamarind pulp
• To fry and grind:
• 4 – Red Chillies
• 6 – Methi seeds
• Salt – a little
• A pinch of Turmeric powder
• To Temper:
• 1/4 tsp – rai
• 1/4 tsp – Jeera
• 1/4 tsp – Urad Dal
• Coriander
• Asafoetida
Method:
- Grind 4 red chillies, 6 methi seeds, add salt, tamarind pulp, turmeric and make a paste.
- Add guava pieces and grind coarsely. Don’t make very smooth paste.
- Add tempered rai, urad dal, jeera, asafoetida. Mix well and garnish with coriander.
- Goes well with chapatti and hot rice.
