
Ingredients:
• 1 kg – guavas, ripe
• 600 g – Sugar
• 2 tsp – citric acid
• 4 drops green food colour
Method:
- Wash, peel, chop and pressure cook the guavas with half cup water.
- Mash guava. Strain pulp, discard seeds.
- Cook sugar and pulp on low, till sugar dissolves.
- Cook and stir frequently, till mixture is thick.
- Check consistency with plate test.
- Add citric acid and colour.
- Mix till well blended.
- Fill in sterile jar. Cool and store.
