
Ingredients:
• 100 g- Fresh, tender Turmeric tubers
• 1 liter – Milk
• 1/2 cup – Sugar
• 1 tsp- Ghee
• 1/2 tsp- Cardamom powder.
Method:
- Peel and wash the turmeric. Now grate it finely and keep aside.
- In the meanwhile boil in a large heavy vessel.
- Simmer for 10 minutes and add the turmeric.
- Stir gently, until it starts Boiled again.
- Keep stirring so that the milk does not scald.
- Add sugar, cook until it is a soft, yellow lump.
- Now add cardamom, ghee, and mix well.
- Transfer to a container, and cool before storing.
- Eat half a teaspoonful, every morning along with milk.
