Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Suji (rava)
• 1 cup – water
• 1 cup – Sugar
• 1 cup – Wheat flour
• Oil for deep frying
• Water to make the dough

Method:

  1. Make the dough by mixing wheat flour and water.
  2. Knead the dough by mixing a little bit of oil. See that the dough must be soft.
  3. Keep this aside for 1/2 an hour.
  4. Boil 1 cup water with 1 cup sugar.
  5. Bring to boil and add soji by continuous stirring and allow the halwa to cook for about 5 minutes.
  6. Keep aside and allow to cool.
  7. Make small lumps of halwa out of this and keep aside.
  8. Take the dough and make small lumps and press with the palms into the thin small purees.
  9. Stuff the halwa into the puree.
  10. Deep fry into the oil till it turns golden colour. It is crispy and tastes good.
