
Ingredients:
• 500g – Bananas
• 1/2 cup (heaped) – Sugar
• 1 – Clove
• 2 tbsp – Lime juice
• 3-4 drops – (any color) food color
Method:
- Peel and slice the bananas.
- In a pan, boil the bananas along with lime juice and clove till the banana turns soft and mushy. (You can cool the mixture and pass through a clean muslin cloth to get a smoother mixture).
- Add sugar, a few spoons at a time, and stir well until the entire sugar dissolves. Bring to boil, skimming any froth from top. Keep stirring, on medium heat, till you get a thick consistency.
- Add the food colour and mix well. Switch off the heat and transfer the jam into sterilised jars.
