
Ingredients:
• 2.5 cups – dhokara flour
• 1 tsp – asafetida
• 2 tsp – baking soda
• Salt to taste
• 2 tbsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• Red Chilli powder – 1 tsp
• 1 cup – yogurt
• 1 cup – shredded Lauki (zucchini, carrots, spinach, Cabbage like vegetables could be used as well)
• 1.5 cups – warm water
• 1 tbsp – Garam Masala
• Sesame seeds – for garnishing
• For seasoning:
• Oil – 1 tbsp
• Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
• Whole Red Chilli – 2
Method:
- Preheat the oven at 400 degrees. Butter a loaf pan.
- Mix all the ingredients except sesame seeds and seasonings.
- Make smooth, thick paste, beating by a wire whisk
- The mix will be incorporated with bubbles
- Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds, add whole red chilli.
- Add the seasoning to the mix
- Pour it in a loaf pan, sprinkle sesame seeds on top of it and bake it for about an hour
- Cut into pieces and serve warm.
