
Ingredients:
• 10 cups – flour
• 18 – Egg
• 2 packets – Yeast
• 6 tbsp – Sugar
• 400g – Butter
• water – as needed
• Salt – 1 tbsp
Method:
- Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup of warm water with a tsp of sugar.
- Mix all ingredients with yeast and knead for 10 minutes. Put in large greased bowl and cover with a towel.
- Let it to rise for 2 hours.
- Divide the dough into 6 equal parts.
- Make each part into a 10 x 4 inch piece.
- Cut each piece into 3 strips and braid.
- Put each braid into a greased 8 inch cake pan.
- Cover with dish towel and leave to rise for another 2 hours.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes.
