Ingredients:

• Rice – 1 cup
• Ripe jack fruit flesh – 4 cup, chopped
• Grated Coconut – 1 cup
• Jaggery powder – 2 to 3 tbsp
• Salt – 1/8 tsp
• Melted Ghee or Honey to serve.

Method:

  1. Soak the rice in water for 1/2 hour.
  2. Drain well and grind with rest of the ingredients to a coarse, crumbly mixture, without adding water.
  3. Grease a shallow dish with ghee and pour the mixture in it.
  4. Steam for 20 minutes.
  5. Cool and cut into pieces.
  6. Serve topped with ghee or honey.
