
Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup – Channa dal
• 1/2 cup – Peanuts
• 1 pinch – Hing
• 2 pinches – Methi powder (fenugreek)
• 8 – Green chillies
• 1 tbsp – Curry leaves
• 1 tbsp – Coconut powder
• 1 tsp – oil
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 tsp – Tamarind paste
• 1/2 cup – water
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add hing, methi powder, green chillies and curry leaves.
- Fry for 30 seconds.
- Add channa dal, peanuts and fry until the channa dal browns.
- Add coconut powder and fry for 30 seconds.
- Cool and grind with salt, tamarind and water.
- Serve with dosas or idlis.
