Ingredients:

• Salt as per taste
• 1 tbsp – Red Chilli powder
• 2 tbsp – sesame seeds
• 1/4 cup – heated oil
• Oil for deep frying
• 1/2 cup – Bajra
• 1 cup – Rice
• 1 cup – jowar
• 1/2 cup – Urad Dal
• 2 tbsp – Coriander seed
• 2 tbsp – Cumin seeds

Method:

  1. Mix together all the roasted ingredients.
  2. Grind into fine dry powder.
  3. Add salt, chilli powder, sesame seeds and heated oil.
  4. Knead into smooth dough by adding lukewarm water.
  5. Cover with muslin cloth, and keep aside for an hour.
  6. Make small balls.
  7. Roll the balls into pencil-shape.
  8. Fold the ends of each roll in the centre.
  9. Heat the oil for frying.
  10. Deep fry on medium flame till golden brown.
  11. Drain and let it cool.
  12. Store in air-tight container.
