Ingredients:

• 4 or 5- leftover idlis
• For seasoning:
• 1/2 tsp- Mustard Seeds
• 1/2 tsp- urud dal
• 2 to 3 – Curry leaves
• For dipping :
• 4 or 5 tbsp- Maida
• 3 to 4 tbsp- bread crumbs
• For grinding:
• 3 or 4- small Onions
• 2 medium – Tomatoes
• 3 or 4 flakes – Garlic
• Ginger – small amount
• 2 tsp- Dhania powder
• Chilli powder
• Salt

Method:

  1. Add little bit of chilli powder and salt to the maida and make it into a paste by adding water.
  2. Cut the idlis into small squares.
  3. Dip them first in maida and then in bread crumbs.
  4. Deep fry them in oil till golden brown.
