Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup – Sugar
• 1/2 cup – water
• 1 cup – cashew nut, finely powdered

Method:

  1. Combine sugar with water. Keep aside for 15 minutes. Stir well.
  2. Cook on full power uncovered 6 to 8 minutes, stirring 3 times. The syrup must form a soft ball when dropped in cold water.
  3. Add 1 cup cashew powder. Beat till it is a thick lump.
  4. If the mixture does not thicken after beating for 3 to 4 minutes, cook the mixture for 2 more minutes and beat again.
  5. Spread thinly on a greased surface, cool and cut into pieces.
