Ingredients:
• 2 large – Onions, chopped
• 250 gms – Chick pea flour
• 2 tbsp – Ginger, chopped
• 1/2 tsp – Baking powder
• 20 – Curry leaves
• 1 tbsp – Oil
• 2 tbsp – Rice powder
• 6 tbsp – Cashewnuts, broken
• 3 – Green chillies, chopped
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• Salt to taste
• Oil for deep frying
Method:
- Mix all the ingredients, except the oil for deep frying together in a bowl.
- Add a little water to make a batter of coating consistency.
- Mix batter by hand for at least 3-4 minutes.
- Heat oil in a kadhai (wok) and drop batter, a teaspoon at a time.
- Fry about 8-10 bhajiyas at a time on medium heat until golden brown.
