Ingredients:

• 100 g – khoya
• 100 g – Paneer
• 2 tbsp – Maida
• 1/2 cup – Raisins
• 1/2 cup – misri (candied sugar)
• Ghee – for frying
• 2 cups – Sugar
• 1 cup – water
• 1/2 tsp – Cardamom powder

Method:

  1. Grate khoya and paneer.
  2. Add in refined flour, a little milk and knead to make a soft dough.
  3. Cover with a wet cloth and leave it for half an hour.
  4. Boil sugar and water to make a syrup of one-spring consistency and add cardamom powder.
  5. Make small balls of equal size with the dough with one raisin and a small piece of misri in the centre.
  6. Heat ghee in a frying pan, deep fry the balls on low heat till golden in colour.
  7. Add to the sugar syrup. Serve after 1 hour.
