Ingredients:
• Red amaranth – 2 bunches
• Toor Dal -1 cup
• Red Chillies -3 to 4
• Jeera- 1/2 tsp
• Coconut – 3/4 cups
• Urad Dal – 1/2 tsp
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Finely cut the amaranths.
- Pressure cook the toor dal and set aside.
- Now grind the coconut, red chilli, jeera, urad dal into fine paste.
- Cook the greens in kadai with little water.
- When done add the cooked tuvar dal and mix it.
- Add salt and boil for a while on low flame.
- Now garnish with coriander seeds, urad dal and curry leaves.
- Finally add little coconut oil.
