Ingredients:

• 4 – large ripe Bananas
• 1 cup – Yoghurt
• 2 tsp – Sugar
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 3 tbsp – freshly grated or desiccated Coconut
• 1/2 tsp – salt
• Lemon juice

Method:

  1. Slice bananas and sprinkle with lemon juice.
  2. Roast cumin seeds in a dry pan, shaking or stirring constantly until they become brown.
  3. Crush or grind.
  4. Combine the yoghurt with all the ingredients except the banana.
  5. If desiccated coconut is used, moisten it first by sprinkling 2 tbsps of water to ensure that it is not dry.
  6. Fold banana into the yoghurt mixture.
  7. Chill and serve.
