Ingredients:

• 10 – large Green chillies
• Oil for Deep Frying
• Salt as per taste
• Water as required
• For stuffing:
• 4 – raw bananas, boiled, peeled, mashed
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tsp – Amchoor powder
• 3 tbsp – chopped Coriander leaves
• Salt as per taste
• For batter:
• 1 cup – besan
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 pinches – soda bicarbonate
• 1 tbsp – hot oil

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients for the stuffing.
  2. Divide into 8-10 parts.
  3. Slit green chillies and remove the seeds.
  4. Fill stuffing into each half of the slit green chillies.
  5. Mix all ingredients of batter to form a dip thick enough to thickly coat back of a spoon.
  6. Heat oil for deep frying.
  7. Dip the green chillies into batter.
  8. Drop chillies into the hot oil.
  9. Deep fry till golden brown.
  10. Fry 2-3 in a batch and drain.
  11. Cut into halves and serve with chutney.
