Ingredients:
• 10 – large Green chillies
• Oil for Deep Frying
• Salt as per taste
• Water as required
• For stuffing:
• 4 – raw bananas, boiled, peeled, mashed
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tsp – Amchoor powder
• 3 tbsp – chopped Coriander leaves
• Salt as per taste
• For batter:
• 1 cup – besan
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 pinches – soda bicarbonate
• 1 tbsp – hot oil
Method:
- Mix all the ingredients for the stuffing.
- Divide into 8-10 parts.
- Slit green chillies and remove the seeds.
- Fill stuffing into each half of the slit green chillies.
- Mix all ingredients of batter to form a dip thick enough to thickly coat back of a spoon.
- Heat oil for deep frying.
- Dip the green chillies into batter.
- Drop chillies into the hot oil.
- Deep fry till golden brown.
- Fry 2-3 in a batch and drain.
- Cut into halves and serve with chutney.
