
Ingredients:
• 1/4 kg – kala Channa
• 1 – Raw banana
• 1/4 kg – Yam
• 2 sprigs – Curry leaves
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 tsp – Coconut grated
• 3 tsp – Coconut oil
• 1/2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp -pepper powder
• salt to taste
• 1 tsp – Jeera
• 1/4 cup – water
• 1/2 Coconut grated
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
Method:
- Soak kala channa over night.
- Cook kala channa, pieces of banana and yam, in the cooker along with salt
- Add pepper, turmeric and chilli powder.
- Wait for 5 whistles.
- Grind (1 tsp jeera, 1/4 cup water, 1/2 coconut grated) to a thick paste.
- Splutter mustard in coconut oil with curry leaves.
- Put the fried ingredients in pressure cooker along with the grinded paste and boil.
