
Ingredients:
• 3/4 kg – freshly made Paneer (cottage cheese)
• 1.5 tin sweetened condensed Milk
• 3 heaped tbsp – Milk powder
• 1.5 tbsp – all-purpose flour (maida)
• 3 tbsp – powdered Sugar
• A few strands of Saffron soaked in 1 tbsp. water
• 1 tbsp – Lemon peel
• Silver leaf (warq) for decorating (optional)
Method:
- Blend all ingredients except the lemon peel to a smooth paste.
- Take a heavy-bottomed kadai or wok and heat the blended mixture.
- When the mixture is heated through, reduce the flame.
- Keep stirring until the mixture is dry.
- Add the lemon peel, stir well.
- Spread the mixture onto a greased plate and leave to cool.
- When cool, cut into rectangular or squares.
- Decorate with silver warq.
