
Ingredients:
• Chicken – 1 kg (cut into small pieces)
• Whole Red Chillies – 12 to 15
• Onions – 3 medium (chopped)
• Salt – 1 tsp, heaped
• Water – 2 cups
• Green chillies – 3 to 4 (chopped)
• Oil – 1/2 cup
• Cinnamon – 2 sticks
• Ginger – 1 tbsp (chopped)
• Garlic – 1 tsp (chopped)
• Tomatoes – 3 (chopped)
• Black Pepper – 1/2 tsp (Grounded)
• Fresh Coriander leaves – Few chopped
• Cloves – 6
• Black Pepper – 8
Method:
- Put chicken with chopped onion, whole spices, chopped ginger/ garlic, chopped red chillies and water.
- Cook on a slow fire
- When water dries, add in oil, chopped tomatoes and green chillies
- Fry the mixture on high heat very well when chicken is tender
- Add chopped fresh coriander leaves and sprinkle black pepper on it
- Put on dum for 15 mins till oil floats on top.
- Serve hot with nan, salad and lemon juice.
