
Ingredients:
• 6 kiwis – chopped
• 1 cup – Rice
• 3 cups – water
• 6 cups – Milk
• 12 Cardamom pods – shelled
• 1/2 tsp – ground Cinnamon
• 2/3 cup – castor Sugar
• 1/4 cup – toasted, flaked Almonds
• 2/3 cup – Cream
Method:
- Wash the rice very well until the water runs clear.
- Boil 3 cups of water.
- Add the rice and cook uncovered for 5 mins. Drain.
- Combine milk, sugar and cinnamon in a large pan and boil.
- Add the rice and stir well.
- Simmer uncovered for about 30 mins or until the milk is reduced.
- Remove from heat, add the kiwi, cardamom seeds and half of the almonds.
- Before serving, add cream and garnish with almond flakes.
