
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – desiccated coconut, powdered
• 1/2 cup – almonds, powdered
• 1/2 cup – Raisins
• 3/4 cup – sugar, powdered
• 1 tsp – Cardamom powder
• 2 pinches – Cinnamon powder
• 1 cup – plain flour
• 1 tbsp – Ghee
• Water to knead
Method:
- Mix all ingredients together, press lightly into a container. Keep aside.
- Mix flour and ghee well.
- Add enough water to make soft pliable dough.
- Make small (4-inch) rounds, not too thin not too thick, from the dough.
- Place 1 tsp filling in one half of round .
- Fold over the other half, sealing in the mixture.
- Seal edges by twisting or pressing together .
- Repeat with remaining dough.
- Dry on clean cloth for 30 mins.
- Deep fry in hot ghee on low flame till light brown on both sides.
- Drain and cool completely before storing.
