
Ingredients:
• 500 g – khoya
• 250 g – Rawa (semolina)
• 100 g – ground Sugar
• 150 g – Ghee
• 50 g – each of Almonds and Pistachios (blanched and sliced)
• 1 tsp – Cardamom powder
• ½ tsp – baking powder
• ½ tsp – Saffron (dissolved in 1 tbsp. of hot milk)
• 2 – eggs
Method:
- Mix together the khoya, semolina, sugar, ghee, baking powder and eggs and beat well till the mixture turns very smooth, like cake batter.
- Mix in the saffron and ¾th of the nuts and divide between 3 greased, medium sized thalis.
- Spread cardamom powder evenly on top and sprinkle with the remaining nuts.
- Bake in a moderate oven until it turns a nice golden colour.
- Serve hot or cold.
