
Ingredients:
• 1.5 cups – Rice flour, roasted
• 2- 3 drops yellow colour
• 1/2 cup – hot Milk diluted with 1/2 th cup water
• 3 tsp – oil
• 1/2 th cup – grated Coconut
• 2 cups – sugar, powdered
• 1 tsp – Cardamom powder
• 1/2 cup – khoya
Method:
- Add the rice flour with diluted milk, little by little, to avoid formation of lumps.
- Mix yellow colour to it and make round balls. Keep it aside.
- Mix, coconut, sugar, cardamom powder in a heavy-bottomed pan.
- Add khoya. Stir it on low flame. Then cool it.
- Stuff the prepared coconut khoya mixture in rice balls.
- Fold the edges tapering to the top.
- Now steam the modaks in a cooker for 5 mins.
- Decorate with chopped pistachio.
- Refrigerate for 30 mins and serve.
