Ingredients:

• 100 g – Coriander leaves (washed, drained and partly dried)
• 8 Red Chillies
• 8 to 10 Cloves Garlic
• 1/2 tsp – salt
• 1/2 tsp – Jeera
• 1/2 tbsp – Lime juice
• 1 tbsp – oil
• 1 tsp – Dhania seeds

Method:

  1. Heat 1 tsp oil, fry red chillies, jeera and dhania seeds
  2. Remove, grind to make course powder
  3. Add remaining oil and fry coriander leaves on low heat for 2 to 3 mins till they become dry
  4. Add garlic cloves, stir for few seconds
  5. Combine these fried ingredients and salt, and add to the mixer (with the coarse powder already prepared) and grind for 2 mins till everything is blended well
  6. Add lime juice and run mixie for few sec and remove
  7. This is a semi dry chutney served with idli/dosa/upma/pongal.
