Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – kovaikaai (tindora)
• 1 cup – finely chopped Onion
• 1/2 cup – finely chopped Tomato
• 1 tsp – finely chopped Garlic
• 1 tbsp – finely chopped Coriander leaves
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• A pinch of Asafoetida
• A pinch of Turmeric
• Salt to taste
• 1 tbsp – oil

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a kadai.
  2. Add the onion and saute for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the garlic and tomatoes and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Chop the ivy gourd into thin long slices and add it.
  5. Now add all the masala and garnish with coriander leaves.
