Ingredients:

• 1 tbsp – Jaggery
• 1/2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 4 tbsp – shredded Coconut
• 1/2 kg – Rice powder
• Water – as required

Method:

  1. Mix shredded coconut, jaggery, cumin seeds and water and make a thick paste.
  2. Make a dough of the rice powder using water as required. Make small balls out of this dough and flatten each ball separately.
  3. Make small balls out of the jaggery, coconut and cumin seed mixture.
  4. Place it on each flattened piece of rice dough.
  5. Make a round ball of each of these pieces.
  6. Thereafter, steam cook these balls in a vessel for 8-10 minutes.
  7. Serve hot as a snacks or as a full meal for breakfast.
