Ingredients:
• Lady’s fingers – 30
• Green chillies – 12
• Tamarind paste – 2 tsp
• Coriander powder – 1.5 tsp
• Tomato – 1
• Onion – 1
• Jaggery – 1/2 tsp
• Salt to taste
• Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
• Oil -1 tsp
• Mustard – 1/4 tsp
• Urad Dal – 1/2 tsp
• Curry leaves – a few
Method:
- Chop onion, tomato, and chillies.
- Cut ladyfingers into thin slices.
- Heat oil in a pan, and fry the lady finger till the sliminess disappears and keep aside.
- Heat oil and splutter mustard.
- Add urad dal, curry leaves, and green chillies and saute.
- Then, add onion and tomato, and saute for a while.
- Add the fried ladyfingers, salt, coriander powder, tamarind paste, turmeric powder, jaggery and little water, and cook till done.
- Serve hot.
