Ingredients:

• 1.5 liters Milk
• 400 gms – Cream
• Sugar to taste
• 1 tbsp – almonds, Charoli and Cashewnuts
• 1/4 cup – rose water
• 1/2 tsp – ground Cardamom and Nutmeg
• 5 Egg yolks
• 3 Egg whites

Method:

  1. Boil 1 litre milk with sugar until it becomes almost half the original quantity. Cool.
  2. Beat 5 yolks and 3 egg whites.
  3. Add cream, half a litre of milk and rose water and nuts to it.
  4. Blend well with thickened milk.
  5. Put in ground spices.
  6. Grease a baking dish and pour the mixture into it.
  7. Bake in a hot oven in a tray of water for half an hour or till set.
  8. Cool and cut into slices.
