Ingredients:

• 1 kg – fish fillet
• 2 cups – gram flour
• 3 tbsp – Tamarind pulp
• 2 tbsp – cornflour
• 2 tbsp – Lemon juice
• 1 tbsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 1 tbsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tbsp – whole Coriander seeds
• Salt to taste
• Oil to fry

Method:

  1. Cut fillets into long pieces.
  2. Remove fish bones and wash them thoroughly.
  3. Add gram flour, tamarind pulp, cornflour, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, salt and 1/2 a cup water in a bowl to make a mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a wok.
  5. Coat fish with gram flour mixture and fry in the wok.
  6. When the pieces turn golden, take them out on paper towels and serve.
