Ingredients:

• brown stock – 1.5 liter
• minced lamb – 250 gm
• red Capsicum – 1
• Cabbage – 250 gm
• Onions – 1 cup, chopped
• Garlic – 2 tsp, chopped
• cumin powder – 1 tsp
• cooked chick peas – 1 cup
• Tomato puree – 1 cup
• Coriander leaves to garnish
• pepper to taste
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Wash the meat and drain well.
  2. Finely chop capsicum, cabbage, onion and garlic.
  3. Place all these in a heavy based pan.
  4. Add stock and cumin powder.
  5. Simmer till the meat and vegetables are tender.
  6. Add chick peas, salt, Pepper, tomato puree and coriander leaves.
  7. Bring to a boil and simmer for 2 minutes.
  8. Serve hot.
