Ingredients:
• 1 kg – meat, cubed
• 850 g – Tomatoes
• 1 tsp – red chill powder
• 1 tsp – cumin powder
• 50 g – Ghee
• 2 large onions, sliced
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 potatoes, skinned, washed and cubed
• 2 tsp – Sugar
• 2 tbsp – chopped Parsley
• 2 tsp – chopped Thyme
Method:
- In a bowl, mix lamb, chilli powder and cumin powder, cover and refrigerate for several hours.
- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, saute onion until soft, add turmeric and stir.
- Add the tomatoes.
- Add the meat, potatoes, sugar, parsley and thyme, simmer covered until meat is just tender and until the sauce is slightly thick.
