Ingredients:

• ?piece – a small Lauki
• 500 g – curds?
• ?tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 tsp – oil?
• ?tsp – Cumin seed powder
• salt to taste
• finely chopped Coriander leaves (to garnish)

Method:

  1. Peel the lauki, wash and finely grate it.
  2. Boil the grated lauki in 1 cup water for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from the gas.
  4. Drain out the water completely and cool the lauki.
  5. Beat the curds with little water.
  6. In a bowl, mix together the lauki and curd.
  7. Add salt.
  8. Heat a tsp of oil.
  9. Add mustard seeds.
  10. When the seeds splutter remove from gas and set it to cool.
  11. Add to the raita and mix well.
  12. Garnish with cumin seed powder and coriander leaves.
