Ingredients:
• ?piece – a small Lauki
• 500 g – curds?
• ?tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 tsp – oil?
• ?tsp – Cumin seed powder
• salt to taste
• finely chopped Coriander leaves (to garnish)
Method:
- Peel the lauki, wash and finely grate it.
- Boil the grated lauki in 1 cup water for 5 minutes.
- Remove from the gas.
- Drain out the water completely and cool the lauki.
- Beat the curds with little water.
- In a bowl, mix together the lauki and curd.
- Add salt.
- Heat a tsp of oil.
- Add mustard seeds.
- When the seeds splutter remove from gas and set it to cool.
- Add to the raita and mix well.
- Garnish with cumin seed powder and coriander leaves.
