Ingredients:
• 1 – medium sized Lauki (green gourd)
• 2 – Green chillies
• 1 – medium sized Onion (optional)
• 1 – bunch of Coriander leaves
• 3 cups – Wheat flour
• 1/4 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric
• Salt to taste
• Oil to deep fry
Method:
- Wash and grate the lauki and onion.
- Cut the green chillies and coriander into very small pieces.
- Mix the flour, grated lauki and onion, green chillies, coriander and all the other spices.
- Make stiff dough with just enough water.
- Keep in refrigerator for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a karahi and keep it on a medium flame.
- Make small balls from the dough and roll.
- Once, oil is heated enough, deep fry till they are golden in color.
