Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup – semolina (sooji)
• 1 tsp – Chopped Ginger
• 3-4 – Green chillies, chopped
• 2 – Tomatoes chopped
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp – Black pepper powder
• Bread – as required

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients except bread and make a smooth paste (thick).
  2. Cut bread slice into four square pieces.
  3. Cover one side of the bread with paste.
  4. Deep fry till golden brown and crisp.
  5. Serve with green chutney or sauce, as a companion for tea.
