
Ingredients:
• Maddur Vada:
• Rava – 1 Cup
• Cake Flour – 1 Cup
• Rice flour – 1 Cup
• Onion – 3 Cups (Finely Chopped)
• Green chilli – 6
• Coriander & Curry leaves – Finely Chopped
• Salt to taste
• Oil to fry
• Rava Kodambale:
• Rava – 1 Cup
• Cake Flour – 1 Cup
• Green chilli – as required to taste
• Coriander – 1/2 cup chopped
• Soda – 1/2 tsp
• Ghee – 4 tsp
• Oil to fry
Method:
- Mix all ingredients together. Add a little water if required. Form it like a chapatti dough.
- Take a small quantity and roll it in a rolling pin like small puries, fry till golden brown.
- Maddur Vada is ready to eat.
- Store in a air tight container, eat any time & Enjoy.
- Rava Kodabale (Karnataka Fame):
- Heat up the Ghee and mix with all ingredients together with water to form like chapati dough.
- Take small quantity of dough, roll the dough to a little finger thick rope, join the ends to form like a circle. Deep fry in a low heat till golden brown, Kadabale is ready to eat. Store in a air tight container. It can remain unspoiled for many days.
